Terms & Conditions

Draft updated October 7, 2026 · Not yet effective

Draft for review. These proposed terms are not an active agreement. Dunsly’s legal operator, contact details and final terms must be confirmed before publication.

Dunsly helps you organize your household’s financial information. These proposed terms explain the boundaries of that service and your responsibilities when using it.

1. What Dunsly does

Dunsly provides budgeting, transaction organization, account summaries and planning tools. It does not hold your money, initiate transfers, pay bills or execute investments. A budget, payoff estimate or savings goal is a plan, not an instruction to a financial institution.

Information and generated explanations are not a substitute for advice from a qualified financial, investment, tax or legal professional. Check your institution’s statements and payment deadlines before acting. Dunsly cannot guarantee a financial outcome.

Access may be limited to an invited preview. Features can be unavailable or restricted to test data; an interface for a feature does not mean it is available to every account.

2. Your account and household

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and use your own account rather than sharing a password. Only add financial records you are entitled to access and share.

Households are shared workspaces. Other members may see household financial records and, depending on their role, change them. Household owners can export household data, including advisor records. Labels assigning spending to a person and on-screen privacy mode do not make a record private from other authorized members.

Only share a household with people you intend to authorize. Ending someone’s access cannot recall information they already downloaded or recorded.

3. Bank connections and imported records

Where enabled, Dunsly uses Plaid to connect accounts you authorize. You complete the provider’s connection flow and choose which available accounts to bring into Dunsly. Provider permissions and availability may differ by institution.

Connected data may arrive late, be incomplete or contain errors. Review new accounts, imported history and proposed reconnections before confirming them. Manual edits and imports also need your review; Dunsly is not the authoritative record maintained by your bank.

Disconnecting a bank stops Dunsly’s continued access through that connection after the provider confirms revocation. It does not erase the accounts, transactions or history already stored in Dunsly. See the Privacy Policy’s deletion section for that separate process.

4. Optional AI assistance

When available and enabled with household consent, the advisor sends your question and relevant household financial context to the configured AI service. The Privacy Policy explains this disclosure.

AI responses can be mistaken, incomplete or misleading. Verify figures and conclusions independently. The advisor can read permitted financial information to answer questions; it cannot move money or make changes to your financial records. Do not put passwords, access codes or unrelated sensitive information in a question.

5. Your data and acceptable use

You retain your rights in the information you provide. You allow Dunsly to store, process, display and transmit it as needed to supply the features you use, including sharing with authorized household members and the service providers described in the Privacy Policy. This permission does not grant a right to advertise or sell your financial records.

Do not access another household without permission, bypass security controls, submit malicious software, impersonate another person, infringe someone else’s rights or interfere with the service. Authorized exports of your data are permitted. Dunsly’s branding and software are not transferred to you by providing access to the service.

6. Paid features

Public paid subscriptions are not offered in the current preview. Test checkout flows do not establish a public price or charge real subscription fees.

Before a paid launch, Dunsly will present the actual price, billing frequency, any automatic renewal, cancellation process and refund terms before purchase. Those terms need to be finalized separately; this draft does not create an obligation to pay or enroll you in a subscription.

7. Stopping use and account deletion

You can stop using Dunsly at any time. Signing out, uninstalling an app or disconnecting a bank does not delete your account.

The web app’s Security & your data page provides available export and account-deletion controls. Shared household ownership, connected banks, an uncancelled paid subscription or protected migration archives may need to be resolved before self-service deletion can complete. These safeguards prevent accidental loss of another member’s data and unresolved provider access. They do not remove any privacy rights you have under applicable law.

Dunsly may restrict access to investigate misuse, protect an account or meet legal requirements. Any continuing records and deletion limits are described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and responsibility

Preview features may change, experience interruptions or contain defects. Keep independent records of information important to you. Neither calculations nor bank connectivity are guaranteed to be continuously available or error-free.

Nothing in these proposed terms excludes rights or protections that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. This draft does not impose arbitration, a class-action waiver, a monetary liability cap or a chosen court or jurisdiction.

9. Changes and contact

The version and effective date of the final terms will be shown here. Material changes to active terms will be communicated before they apply, with any consent required by law.

Before these terms become effective: Dunsly must identify its legal operator and publish a monitored support and legal contact. Neither has been finalized in this draft. Do not send requests to an assumed Dunsly email address.
